Not everyone, but many first time buyers want to learn
as much as they can about the home buying process. It is hard to feel
comfortable signing mass quantities of documents when you don't know what they
are. Reading real estate contracts is right up there with counting sheep
for most of us.
This web site should help you with many of your questions,
but can't be all things to all people. For that reason, I have visited
other sites that may be helpful to you, and have provided you with links to them
below. Just remember, you got these from me and - I want to help you
first!

If you choose me to help you find your home

You will receive a full time property search. To save you time, I will be viewing properties on-line,
reviewing ads in the
newspaper, attending broker’s opens, reviewing agent flyers, and then visiting and screening
homes that fit your needs.
You will have access to every home on the market in Washington State, regardless of the
real estate company representing the seller. Feel confident that you will not
“miss” the perfect home because your agent did not see it. For example, if you
want a home in a specific area, I can call up a search showing any home listed
for sale in that area.
You will be provided with printouts or emails of all properties searched.
Next: You will be provided with maps, or can be picked up and escorted to view homes you select from
searches, and/or arrange to visit and view homes you find in newspaper ads, drive
bys, open houses or on-line.
Help you find financing.
Help you evaluate properties you view, and discuss pricing issues in terms of
the marketplace.
Provide you with complete contact information, and the same information for my
back-up agent if I am temporarily unavailable.
Review and explain all documents and actions encountered in the purchase and
sale process.
Help arrange inspections on properties on which you wish to make an offer.
Provide you with a preliminary estimate of closing costs, down payment
requirements, earnest money agreements, etc.
Prepare offers with you on homes you select, and formally present offers to
sellers in a professional manner.
We will prepare a negotiation strategy to achieve the best possible terms –
a competitive market analysis will be provided to you prior to pricing the offer.
Monitor and inform you of the progress of the purchase agreement, including the
satisfaction of all contingencies and conditions encountered during the
transaction.
The
home you decide on may not have everything you were looking for, but it will be
close enough – you will know it when you walk in. Trust your feelings and take
your time. Be patient…your home is out there somewhere waiting for you! For a
