I am writing to give you a referral for Jim Hunt. I can't recommend him more thoroughly. He worked with my husband Dale and I over a period of 3 months to help us find our house and we looked at over 100 houses with him. He's a really hardworking and dedicated real estate agent. We have been thrilled with our purchase so far...a lovely 3 bedroom in the heart of Green lake.

We had very specific financial and space requirements to meet. My husband and I are musicians and I am also a painter. Jim understood this and really helped us to find out places to see that were appropriate both space wise and financially so that our time was used economically.

He works more that one client at a time but manages his time very well so he tends to be readily available to go out to see houses with you whenever you need him. He is a very easygoing and trustworthy guy with an eye for a what makes a solid house and a smart investment. We watched time and again as his predictions about the different houses we were looking at came true. He has superior judgment and experience in this area. His tactful foresight helped us from making a poor purchase a few times in the wrong areas. It's hard to know which house and which area of Seattle will be the best equity gainer for you when you are in the middle of the house search....often you see a house you like a lot and get very emotional about it and don't think about the investment potential because you are caught up in the emotional aspects of it. That's why its good to have Jim around. He'll give you his honest opinion and he's almost always right. You can trust him when he says a house is a good one.

Lastly he's a local (a native born Seattleite) and we really appreciated that about him. We met some pretty flashy real estate agents in the beginning of our search that promised us lots of things but went with Jim because he seemed quite real and honest - which he definitely proved to be. Our house has already shot up in equity since we made our purchase in October. We haven't even been in the house for a year yet so its a great feeling to know we made a smart purchase. And the music and art have just been pouring out of us in our new home. We have way more space that we ever did before and are really happy living here. Jim will do a great job and I can't recommend him enough!
